Meat Rub Recipes
Pepper Steak--Brown 1 inch pieces of round or chuck steak in oil, then add one cup of strips of green and red bell pepper and onion. Lightly brown. Add enough water to simmer and to make a gravy, approximately 2 cups, also add 2 T. of Roast Beef Rub for seasoning(or to taste). Simmer beef and vegetables till tender, then add 2 T. of cornstarch to a 1/4 c. water and stir till dissolved, then add mixture to beef and vegetables. Stir till thickened. Add water if too thick.
Apple Mesquite Pork Loin--Mix 1/2 package rub with 1/2 cup of brown sugar (this is for a small loin for a larger one doublemixture), spray loin with oil then cover with mixture. then cover with aluminum foil and bake or place on grill, cook till done. Will make a great tasting crust on meat.
Roast Beef Rub--for great tasting hamburgers, mix with meat then form patties and grill.
Applewood Brisket Oven Style- Cover brisket with applewood seasoning, place in a oven proof pan and cover with foil, bake in the oven at 200 degrees, all night. The next morning you have a tender juicy brisket. Can also do this in a crockpot.
Dip Recipes
Cucumber Dill--Mix half packet with 1 cup oil, add vinegar to taste for a great salad dressing.
Garden Medley--Quarter new potatoes, then spray with oil. Sprinkle with Garden Medley dip mix and roast in oven at 400 degrees till brown. Can also use Toasted Garlic and Carmelized Onion for this recipe.
Garden Medley when made up as a dip, is a great topping for baked potatoes.
Jalapeno -- Make up according to recipe for dip, then serve instead of sour cream for taco salad.
Cheesecake Recipes
Hershey Pie Recipe--Use Oreo Pie Crust, make Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake according to directions, fill into pie. Place a thin layer of cool whip on top then sprinkle with a shaved hershey bar.
Toffee Praline Pie--Use Graham cracker pie crust, fold toffee bits and pecan pieces into prepared Toasted Vanilla Cheesecake. Pour into crust, top with whipped topping and sprinkle toffee bits and pecans on top.
Amaretto Cherry Pie--Use Oreo Pie crust, fill with Amaretto Cherry Cheesecake prepared, top with Wilderness Pie cherries, top with dollops of whipped topping.
Key Lime Pie--Fill graham cracker crust with key lime cheesecake, decorate pie with dollors of whipped cream and slices of lime. Sooooo Easy!
Strawberry Pie--Fill graham cracker pie with half of the strawberry cheesecake mixtrue(can make two pies or use left oer for dip) Add sliced strawberries to the strawberry glaze you find in the produce department at your supermarket. Place mixture on top of cheesecake mixture, add dollops or a layer of whipped topping and serve
Ice Cream Sandwiches--Use graham crackers or cookies and place cheesecake in between as a filling, freeze before serving.
